Amsterdam

Arrived in Amsterdam about 7am Saturday morning after a safe and comfortable trip. Spent two hours at Singapore airport its huge. Then 12 more hours on the plane. Own TV screen on the plane with lots of movies and entertainment so it wasn't too boring.
Emily met me at the airport. We have cleaned up and are having a little rest then we are off for lunch and a bit of sightseeing. How is Heather doing.

Thanks nik, everything ready to go. Train line has problems. Usual dramas here trying to sort out. I really need this holiday. But I got on to my blog site!!! (major achievement) and Emily gets in to the Amsterdam airport from India one hour before I do. Hope things all go to schedule.

Haven't left yet

Well, its 8 weeks until I head off. I'm currently in Gatton collecting heaps of info about our trip. I've got an Amsterdam, Netherlands, Paris and Egypt Lonely Planet Guide. This will keep me going.
